So here I am in class. It’s my VDEO 350 class.
All we do for 3 hours is watch videos after videos. Don’t get me wrong, I did say video and not movies. My favoritest medium when it comes to art, video is definitely the best, and there is so much you could do with it. Obviously, not all the videos are entertaining, and most of them are quite creepy,
Today is the day I nearly fainted while watching a video. So there is this fucked up artist who does insanely creepy artsy videos, and the one were watching right now is too intense. 17 minutes of this guy trying to open up this girls’ eyes. He wants her to “see”, but she keeps them closed ad tries to fight him off. Of course they are not talking or exchanging conversation like natural human beings, no. They keep on struggling, grunting and fighting to get their point accross. FOR 17 FUCKINGMINUTES!!!!!!!!!
Now all of this does have an artsy philosophical meaning to it. And all the indie kids are now fighting to sound the coolest by finding explanations to this crazy fiasco! LOL
Anyways, I’m not saying that I did not like it, I was just disturbed and felt like I was going to faint after 12 minutes of this video.
